Universal Education Period of Field Review

At the request of the Michigan State Board of Education, a referent group, reflecting the full range of diversity of learners and factors, drafted a document called Vision and Principles for Universal Education, which is now available for field review.

The document and response forms are available by clicking on the following links:

Written comments will be accepted by the Office of Special Education and Early Intervention Services through 5:00 p.m. on April 30, 2005. The public is encouraged to provide comment via an online response form at http://www.zoomerang.com/survey.zgi?p=WEB2244Y4MLQVP.

Reviewers can also complete the Universal Education Response Form and send it to the Office of Special Education and Early Intervention Services via email at whiteheadaj@michigan.gov, fax it to (517) 373-7504, or send it surface mail to Amanda Whitehead, Administrative Assistant, Office of Special Education and Early Intervention Services, Michigan Department of Education, P.O. Box 30008, Lansing, MI 48909.
