Early Childhood: Programs

Great Start
A new grant program to support Intermediate School District collaborative community efforts to develop parent involvement and education programs for families of young children birth to age five. Access tools for parents, educators and child-care providers. Locate resources available for families with children 0-5 in your county.

HeadStart
HeadStart and Early HeadStart are comprehensive child development programs which serve children from birth to age five, pregnant women, and their families. They are child-focused programs and have the overall goal of increasing the school readiness of young children in low-income families. You can search for a program near you by entering a complete address, or select from the "Search by" list.
