A new grant program
to support Intermediate School District collaborative community
efforts to develop parent involvement and education programs for
families of young children birth to age five. Access tools for
parents, educators and child-care providers. Locate resources
available for families with children 0-5 in your county.
HeadStart
HeadStart and Early HeadStart are comprehensive child
development programs which serve children from birth to age five,
pregnant women, and their families. They are child-focused
programs and have the overall goal of increasing the school readiness
of young children in low-income families.

Coordinator List
Access a list Early On contacts to locate the coordinator in
your ISD who you can call if you have a concern or question about your
infant or toddler’s development.

Provides informational links to resources, publications, and

Michigan Directory of Service Providers for Infants, Toddlers, and
Students with Disabilities
Intended for parents, educators, and other service providers seeking
resource information related to the educational needs of children,
students, and clients. The directory contains contact information
about resources for children ages birth to three with special needs
and their families (Michigan's Early On® population) and students ages
3-26 with disabilities.
Project
Find
Provides information about special education
programs and services and helps arrange free educational evaluation to
assist in locating a program for anyone eligible from birth to 26
years of age. The educational services are free.
