Child and Adolescent Health Center Program

Highlights the MDCH - Child and Adolescent Health Center Program and services, provides a map of Michigan sites and information by county.
 

Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program

Provides general lead poisoning information, blood Lead testing resources, data, charts, maps and specific information on how to make your home lead safe.
 

Children Special Health Care Services (CSHCS)
CSHCS is a program within the Michigan Department of Community Health. It is for children and some adults with special health care needs and their families and offers diagnostic evaluation to determine a qualifying condition. Find out who can join CSHCS and who to contact if you have questions.
 

Healthy Kids (PDF)
A program that provides a wide range of health care coverage and support services for qualifying pregnant women, babies and children under age 19. Learn what services are covered and how to apply.
 

Local Health Departments

Makes available a local health department map with contact information.

 
Local Mental Health Services

You can download and view a list of local Community Mental Health Services Programs (CMHSPs).

Oral Health

Vision Screening

Discusses vision screening for preschool and school aged children. Includes the age and grade periodicity schedule, tests administered, and referral process for children who fail a vision screening test.
