The purpose the Children's Rehabilitation Engineering Team is to serve people with disabilities in the Alabama counties of Mobile, Baldwin, Choctaw, Clarke, Escambia, Monroe, and Washington by assisting them with their adaptive technology needs. The Team has coordinated services and networked resources since 1988. We obtained 501(c)(3) status in 1994 so that we could apply for grants to accomplish our goal to help the over 6,500 children and adults with disabilities in the Mobile area.
