REMC #1 is one of Michigan's 22 Regional Educational Media Centers.
REMC #1 is a service of the Copper Country Intermediate School District (CCISD)
and the Gogebic-Ontonagon Intermediate School District (GOISD). It serves
the public and private schools in Baraga, Gogebic, Houghton, Keweenaw, and
Ontonagon Counties. Within the five counties, REMC #1 serves over 12,000
students and approximately 700 educators.

child care, to support and train child care providers, and to advocate for

Onaway Friends of the Library
Our group is open to all residents of the Onaway area.
We sponsor fundraisers to support additional activities and materials to
the Onaway Branch of the Presque Isle District Library. Library hours are
Monday & Friday 10:00am to 5:00pm and Tuesday through Thursday 2:00pm
until 7:00pm. We meet the third Monday of every month at 7:00 pm at the
library in the Courthouse in Onaway on the west end of town.
