CA California PTA Stands Up for Healthy School Food - A resolution addressing the childhood obesity crisis, sponsored by the San Francisco PTA and called "Healthy Lifestyles for All Children," was approved by a majority of the 2,718 voting delegates at the California State PTA's 105th annual convention earlier this month in Long Beach, Calif. Total attendance at the convention, held May 3-6, was more than 5,400.

The Deaf California News is a mailing list consisting of event announcements, news stories, press releases and job opportunities for and about the D/deaf, hard of hearing, late deafened, and Interpreter Communities of California. The list is open to all, including family members, CODAs, colleagues, friends and new signers. Messages are moderated to weed out spam and non-relevant posts. There is absolutely no cost to subscribe to this list. Before subscribing, please read our Terms of Service and Disclaimer. This list currently resides on Yahoo Groups.
