Frequently Asked Questions

Question. I would like to obtain permission to reprint something on your site.

Answer. Check the source of the article or resource, usually located near the top of the article/resource itself. Contact that person/organization/business. Bridges4Kids provides links to resources. Unless the resource specifically is cited as being from Bridges4Kids, we did not create it and cannot personally give reprint permission.

Question. I am interested in knowing how to purchase the game "Capable Shopper" for my son's school. Please send me info on how to purchase this game.

Answer. We do not know if the game is commercially available. You will want to contact Kathleen Ruiz, associate professor of electronic arts at Rensselaer, and faculty leader of the CapAbility Research Project. You can reach her here:

Question. I am a Speech Language Pathologist in a West Virginia School System as well as a SLP service provider for WV Birth to Three. We are moving to the Lansing, Michigan area in August and I would like to find information on Early On job opportunities.

Answer. Each school district or intermediate school district in Michigan hires its own coordinators. You might want to contact the Early On coordinators in Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties which surround the Lansing area. They may be able to point you in the right direction as to available jobs and the necessary training. You can find their contact information by clicking here: http://1800earlyon.org/About/EOcoordinators.php You can also check here for available job postings throughout Michigan: http://www.mireap.net/ A variety of other employment resources are listed on the Bridges4Kids website at: http://www.bridges4kids.org/MichiganInfo.html#4
