Autism
http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Woods/9424/
My name is Eileen and I made this
page to share my personal experiences of having two children,
both on the autistic spectrum. My oldest son, Timmy,
10, has Asperger's Syndrome, is very high functioning. Jordan,
who is 5 1/2 years old, is diagnosed with Autism and recently
started putting words together. A big step and after many
years of intense ABA. He is the most precious thing in the
world. He is my "angel", as I always call him. I wanted
to share my many links on Asperger's and Autism, along with
other information that I found through my endless pursuit of
finding as many resources as possible.
Asperger's Syndrome in our
Family

Our Hope is that by openly
sharing our lives we will help others obtain a better
understanding of AS, resulting in earlier diagnosis,
appropriate counseling, and happier lives.

As far as describing the Asperger
Syndrome itself, I don't care to use the word disability
since I strongly believe he simply has different-abilities.

Welcome to My
Little Aspie!
http://www.mylittleaspie.com/
Two years ago my son was
diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (AS), a neurobiological
disorder on the autistic spectrum. After years of hitting our
heads against the wall trying to figure him out, I'd be lying
if I said we weren't relieved to have finally found that
missing puzzle piece. So buckle up and join us on a
rollercoaster ride of daily trials and tribulations we
encounter while raising our theater-obsessed Aspie.

Syndrome. Both of my boys, my oldest Barry and my middle son

Bradley's Story
http://www.bradleys-story.freeserve.co.uk/
Bradley was born in 1992. He was
a very happy baby, always active and always smiling. When he
was about eighteen months old, all of a sudden, he stopped
responding to us when we talked to him. At first, we consulted
a health visitor because we thought he may be deaf. After
three years of tests and assessments at various units, in 1999
he was diagnosed with
Asperger Syndrome, a
form of Autism.

within the Autism Spectrum.
Andrew's Asperger Page
http://www.angelfire.com/fl/scalisti/asperger.html
This page was created because I
have an extremely misunderstood disorder known as Asperger
Syndrome. I was diagnosed when I was 17. I was a target for
bullies who didn't understand me, because of my general
lankiness and my thoughts and beliefs. Only another person
with Asperger Syndrome could fully understand the syndrome.
Kathleen's Asperger syndrome
page

I am "high-functioning" autistic,
with a diagnosis of Asperger syndrome. I was diagnosed in
1997, after living over three decades knowing I was very
different from most people, but having no idea why.
Bradley Olson--A Person With
Autism
http://www.paulbunyan.net/users/cbsolson/BOlson1/
Hi, I am Bradley Wayne Olson. I
have autism. People sometimes ask me what it is like to have
autism. My reply is that I do not mind being autistic because
it is part of who I am and I do not know any other way of
life. |
