IEP Issues - Driver's Education or Driver's Ed

Back to IEP Topics List

If your student is having difficulty passing regular driver's ed, consider having the special ed department of the school contact Michigan Rehabilitation. Michigan Rehab works through Beaumont Hospital which can provide an evaluation.

Sometimes these evaluations may uncover previously unknown vision problems and Beaumont offers intensive vision therapy which may be covered by either insurance, and - if not - by Michigan Rehabilitation.
