Two new SOAHR ALEs join our ranks within the next month.

Kevin Bernard Scott will begin June 4, 2006, in Lansing as the new ALE hearing Special Education cases. Kevin obtained his undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University and received his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School. Most recently, Kevin was the Business and Field Operations Division Director with the Michigan Education Special Services Association (MESSA).

Beginning July 2, 2006, Michael L. Herendeen will be the ALE in Flint hearing Special Education cases. Michael received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Spring Arbor College and his Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School. Michael is currently the President of the Michigan State Troopers Association. He earned his law degree while working with the MSP and practiced law part time.

Please introduce yourself when you see Kevin in Lansing or Michael in Flint. We are very excited to have these fine lawyers joining us.
